The Environmental Cyber Schoolhouse

Coordinator: Rae Glover

The Environmental Cyber Schoolhouse is the outcome of collaboration between professionals with various areas of expertise such as:

  • K-12 education
  • Teacher education
  • Community outreach
  • Scientific research on the effects of toxicants and disease progression

These educational materials are designed to facilitate an understanding of the impact that biomedical research in environmental toxicology has on our well-being through World Wide Web-based online lessons. The virtual lessons allow students to learn about basic science and clinical research through interactive materials about lead poisoning and asthma. To learn more about these lessons, follow the Environmental Cyber Schoolhouse link.
